Thanks for expressing interest in the hPwF (Hardcore Professional Wrestling Federation). The hPwF has been running strong since summer of 1997 as one of AOL's top RP Wrestling Federation. We employ a mix of e-mail roleplays, dice matches, and organized events and storylines to bring interest to our own little corner of the wrestling RPG world. First, this application will bring about a brief description of hPwF rules and regulations, and then the application process will begin. Remember though that incomplete application will not be accepted, so be sure to finish it all and send it back to the people listed below, contact information is also provided.

Brief Explanation of the hPwF
The hPwF has been around for several years under the guidance of two people. First, the creator (Darren) and secondly, his successor (Travis). The hPwF then breifly went back into the hands of Darren, before he would return to his college duties, handing the federation over to Tony and Matt. Upon a brief disappearance by both Tony and Matt, Erik and Jarred would take over the fed during their absence. After different stints at vice president, the HPWF is now co-run by Erik and Ashley. The hPwF is unique in the sense that it is one of the few RPG Wrestling federations that employ the use of 'e-mail roleplays', which in turn give the muns (handler of characters) the ability to provide their characters a chance to speak their mind at an 'event', or formulate any other creative RolePlays (char. appears on a talk show or on MTV Cribs,etc etc). We also believe strongly in the free will of our members, So they may go about forming their own storylines and matches,but also staying within the borders of realism. The hPwF employs both 'real' (WWE, past WCW wrestlers, ex. The Rock, Sting, HBK, etc) and 'made-up' (originally created) wrestlers,and we cater fairly to both of them. Though the hPwF allows much freedom for their members, there are several things that will no be tolerated. Attitude and behavior problems will not be tolerated, nor will 'Out Of Character (OOC) chatting' during events.

hPwF Management

Erik - The hPwF President and Owner, Erik, controls similar powers to that of the owner. However,the difference is that his decisions can be overruled by the owner. He manages the day to day operations of the fed, and most ideas have to go through him before they are passed. He accepts the applications, and sends the mail strings out when it is time to. He's been in the hPwF since December 1997, and has role-played a few different characters, but has mainly stuck to the two he had been since his time here, Tommy Dreamer, and Shawn Michaels.

Ashley - The hPwF Vice-President, Ashley, has just about the same powers as the President. She works hand in hand with both the President and the Owner when it comes to decision making. When the President is not around, she is the woman to go to for any questions, and decisions. She hasn't been in the fed as long as other members, but she has been here long enough to gain the respect of her peers for any decisions that he might make. She's in charge of writing the cards out, and sometimes the mail strings. Since she has been here, he has been roleplaying a collection of characters, but is most well known for portraying Victoria, and Veronica Caine.

Sample Roleplay (REQUIRED) - In the hPwF, an important part of the federation is "E-Mail RolePlays"...a way for the character to communicate with the federation by the way of describing an interview or a promo or something that transpires during a wrestling event and even outside (ex. MTV Diary of the Rock). It's a chance for you to show us how creative you can be with your character,and what you can exactly do with your RP talents. So below is space provided to do something of that nature,show us exactly what you can do with your character... there is no required length, just remember that the hPwF Management will be reviewing it and will put the basis of what you can do in this sample RP, as well as perhaps a selection of practice matches.
